What an advisory tells you
An advisory records an issue that did not cause the vehicle to fail that test. Read the wording alongside the test date and check whether the issue was addressed.
- Front tyre worn close to the legal limit.
- Rear brake disc worn, pitted or scored.
These are illustrative entries, not records for a real vehicle.
Finance, theft and write-off status are not included in this free report.
Read the report in context
Begin with the most recent test, then review earlier results and the mileage history. An advisory can be a useful prompt for a question, but the record does not show whether the seller has since completed the repair.

Coverage can differ by vehicle. A missing result is shown as unavailable rather than as a pass.
